Privacy notice
Last updated 31 October 2026
This notice covers the dBoss website and its waitlist. The dBoss product will have its own privacy policy when it launches.
Who we are
dBoss is a trading name of Connect Media Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under number 13734635, at Suite FF10 Brooklands House, 58 Marlborough Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 8AF. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under number ZB477744. For anything about your data, email info@connectmediagroup.uk.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we keep:
- your email address
- the date you joined
- the country your connection came from, which Cloudflare works out from your IP address (we don’t keep the address itself)
- which of our web addresses you came through, if it wasn’t dboss.ai
When you visit any of our web addresses, we record the address and page you asked for, the date, the country, the website that linked you here (its domain only), and whether the visit looks automated. We use this only to count visits. We don’t set cookies ourselves, keep IP addresses or track you on other websites.
Checking you’re not a bot
The waitlist form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is signing up. Most people never see it; it asks you to click only if it isn’t sure. To decide, Cloudflare processes your IP address, your browser’s user agent and the technical fingerprint of your secure connection. Cloudflare says it uses these only to detect and block bots, not to identify, profile or target anyone. We never receive them: we learn only whether the check passed.
Cloudflare does this for us, and also uses these signals itself to improve its bot detection, as its Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains. The check runs in a frame from Cloudflare, which may use cookies or similar technology that is strictly necessary to detect bots, as Cloudflare’s cookie policy describes. We use the check because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the waitlist free of automated sign-ups.
Why we use it
We use your email address to tell you when dBoss opens and to send you occasional news before launch. We do this because you asked us to, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
We count visits because we have a legitimate interest in knowing which of our web addresses people use.
Who handles it
Cloudflare hosts this website and stores this data for us. Cloudflare’s network is global, so your request may be handled outside the UK; Cloudflare protects those transfers with safeguards approved under UK law. We don’t sell your data or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you leave the list or ask us to delete it, or until we close the waitlist after launch. We delete visit records after 13 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or leave the waitlist, by emailing info@connectmediagroup.uk. Every email we send has a link to leave the list. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
